Transactions

The Transactions page lists every payment and refund in your Keeal account: who paid, how much, when, and the status. This page explains how to use it, what each status means, and how to export your history.

What the Transactions page is for

  • See all payments – Invoices and payment links that were paid (succeeded).
  • See all refunds – Full or partial refunds we processed.
  • See failed or disputed payments – So you know what didn’t succeed or what’s under dispute.
  • Filter and search – By status (succeeded, refunded, failed, disputed), date, or (if available) client or reference.
  • Export – Download your transaction history (e.g. CSV) for accounting or your records.

Where to find it

  • In the sidebar, click Transactions.
  • You’ll see a list (table) of transactions. Each row is one payment or refund. Columns usually include: Date, Description (or client/invoice), Amount, Currency, Status, and sometimes Reference or Invoice.

What each status means

StatusWhat it meansEffect on your earnings
Succeeded (or Completed)Payment completed. Money received.Amount is added to your earnings (after any fees).
RefundedThe payment was refunded (full or partial) to the customer. The refunded amount is reversed from your earnings (or reduces a future settlement).
FailedPayment did not complete (e.g. card declined, error). No money received; no effect on earnings.
PendingPayment is still processing (e.g. uncaptured, or bank delay). Not yet in earnings until it succeeds.
Under disputeThe customer opened a dispute. It’s not yet resolved. The amount may be held until the dispute is resolved (won = you keep it; lost = deducted from earnings).
Dispute wonDispute was resolved in your favor.Amount stays in your earnings.
Dispute lostDispute was resolved in the customer’s favor.Amount is deducted from your earnings (or from a future payout).

Use these statuses to understand why your earnings or payout might be different from what you expected (e.g. refunds, disputes, failed payments).

Tabs or filters (how to narrow the list)

Many pages have tabs or filters like:

  • All – Every transaction (payments and refunds).
  • Succeeded – Only successful payments (what you earned from).
  • Refunded – Only refunded transactions.
  • Failed – Only failed payments.
  • Disputed – Only transactions with an open or resolved dispute.

Use these to answer questions like “how much did I get from succeeded payments?” or “how many refunds did I have?”

Summary cards (totals)

Above or beside the list you may see summary cards, e.g.:

  • Succeeded – Total amount (and maybe count) of successful payments. This is the money that went into your earnings (before refunds/disputes).
  • Refunded – Count and total amount refunded.
  • Disputed – Count and maybe amount under dispute or lost.

These help you match the list to your Earnings and Payouts and to your own records.

Export (download your history)

  • Look for an Export or Download button (often top-right of the table).
  • Choose CSV (or the format offered). You may be able to pick a date range or use the current filter.
  • Use the file for accounting, tax, or your own records. The export usually includes date, description, amount, currency, status, and sometimes reference or invoice ID.

Common questions

Why don’t I see a payment I just received?
Wait a few seconds and refresh. If you still don’t see it, check the status of the payment (e.g. pending vs succeeded). If the customer paid via a link or invoice, make sure you’re looking at the right account and date range.

What’s the difference between “Succeeded” and “Refunded”?
Succeeded = we received the money; it’s in your earnings. Refunded = we sent the money back to the customer; that amount is reversed from your earnings.

Why is my “Succeeded” total different from my earnings?
Earnings can be reduced by fees, refunds, and lost disputes. So the sum of “Succeeded” transactions minus refunds and dispute deductions (and fees) should match what you see in Earnings and Payouts. Use the Earnings page for the exact breakdown by settlement.

How do I know which invoice or payment link a transaction came from?
Open the transaction row (click it or a “View” link). The detail usually shows the related invoice or payment link and the client (if we have it). You can also match by date and amount to your invoices or links.

Can I issue a refund from here?
Refunds are often issued from the invoice or payment detail page (e.g. Invoices → [invoice] → Refund), not from the Transactions list. Use Transactions to see refunds and their status.

I see “Under dispute”—what do I do?
We’ll handle the dispute with the payment method (e.g. card network). You may be asked to provide evidence (e.g. delivery proof, communication with the customer). Check the dashboard or email for any “Action required” and submit evidence where we ask. When the dispute is resolved, the status will change to Dispute won or Dispute lost and your earnings will be updated accordingly.
